On January 24th, 1964, The Preston Police department received a call at 23:40. The caller said it had heard loud gunshots coming from their neighbours house. Police quickly arrived at the Jenkins Family home and found all members dead, each one in a different room.
Police also found a 3-page ransom note that was on the dining table asking for money in return for Emmie. Police interrogated anyone with connections to the family, but no one knew of anyone named โEmmieโ.
Did the father, mother and daughter write the ransom notes? What happened the night of the murders? was anyone else present that night? and who is Emmie?

This online escape experience was just OK it is quite a basic interface compared to others we have done, with some interesting elements. But it does fall down due to the clunkiness of the interface.
( Almost like a slide show with puzzles on each slide )
The game just ends very abruptly as well, leaving you going ' O its over then '
We wouldn't recommend this game really.

Havenโt played their other offerings and I donโt really feel up to it after this. While the atmosphere was great and I enjoyed some of the puzzlesโฆthe bad ended up mostly overshadowing all that. Some of the games puzzles were a pain to solve because they were blocked by menus or the puzzle was poorly designed so it was a pain to do. They also subtract 5 minutes for a clue and 10 for the answer so it felt like if it didnโt immediately click, it made more sense to just take the answer. This was especially true for a puzzle that I understood 80% because I knew that the clue would be what I already knew so it made more sense to just ask for the answer rather than waste my โtimeโ on a clue that may not help. Most of the puzzles were quick and easy, nothing too complicated or difficult to do.
