We really enjoyed the theming here, (especially our horror loving teen). The host was polite and fun and we did enjoy the room, but there was nothing that made it standout. This was the least expensive IRL game that we've done and I think  that you could tell.

The puzzles were fairly standard with a mix of things to find, padlocks etc but I didn't ever feel pressured to hurry.

Could be improved with a few more puzzles and maybe some jump scare interactions from the host. 

We will go back and try another room  here in future.

This was an enjoyable room with lots of different things to work on at the same time. 

You will need somebody dextrous with you as not all puzzles are logic and some were quite tough to do. Teamwork is the key here. 

An enjoyable room and better than the other one we played here but I don't think we'd rush back.

The whole experience would be improved by more interaction and build up from the hosts but that doesn't seem to be something that they do.

This was our first ever room so other may not find it as difficult as we did. We spent a lot of time reading things that we didn't need rather than concentrating on what we should have been doing.  Looking back, I'm not sure if there was just more clutter in this room or, if it was just our inexperience. I also feel the host could have been more helpful knowing that this was our first ever room.

The room was quite small so keep the team below 4 and there were a lot of objects etc to find.

We did enjoy the room and went back to play another but I don't think they'd rate among our favourites.

This was the first time we'd done an outdoor room like this.

You start with a briefing and get given your 'kit' and an I pad and then follow the clues around the city. This would great for  a family with younger (pre teen) kids to do as they clues were pretty straight forward and and they enjoyed following the GPS.

We missed out on the leaderboard due to needing a clue when they hadn't checked an answer recently (To do with how many of an object, but one had been removed for repair), but still really enjoyed the game. It's a fun way to see parts of a city you may not normally explore.

This was a strange one. A great room with a variety of puzzles but not as well designed as other rooms we've played.

One of our new players mis-used something that was meant for later in the game which then meant it wasn't available when needed and there was no way of it being retrieved

It didn't feel as story driven as other games that we've played here and quite a few of the props etc felt tired and in need of some TLC. That said, we did still enjoy it and had fun solving the puzzles.

The host here was brilliant and really added to the fun. 

It was quite an easy room, 2 of the people with us hadn't done any rooms before and we still got out quite easily.

A good selection of games and puzzles, would be great for a family to do as there is a mix of different thinking required.

The room was well themed and designed and the tasks and puzzles fit well with the story.

We played this in difficult mode which made it interesting, there is the option to go back and replay in the other mode if you choose to afterwards.

Brilliant graphics, immersive storytelling and a good selection of different puzzles to solve. Again, my one gripe would be with how the clues work, with the first clue not being really helpful and telling us what we already knew.

This company are the best that we've ever come across for online games and we can't wait for the next one.

As always, the set us was easy and the digital backpack meant keeping track of clues and information was simple.

The graphics, immersive play, actors and storyline were all really good and there was a variety of games and puzzles involved as you travelled through the story.

We're looking forward to their next offering.

We were not sure what to expect from this one but thoroughly enjoyed it.

The set up, graphics, and user interface make it really easy to play and the option of not all having to physically be in the same place makes its a great idea for friends or family who don't live close together.

The game was easy to follow and the storyline, actors and effects made it a really fun play through. If like us, you have an easily distracted teen then being able to stop and start is very helpful.

The same played well and there  is the option of asking for clues but we weren't  huge fans of how they worked. We found that they told us what we already knew when we asked for the first clue and we had to ask for additional ones to get past (which means more (time penalties).

Definitely one the best online rooms we've played.

Really enjoyed this room. Lot of fun to play and lots of laughs. If I had one criticism it's that it was maybe too easy. 

Three of the 4 players were brand new to escape rooms and we mad it our and onto the leader board

A mix of puzzles, involving logic and some skill so a mixed team will fair better

I'm just not sure about these rooms. We did enjoy  this one and there wasn't anything particularly wrong with the room or the games but it just didn't give the same buzz that we've had after completing other rooms elsewhere.

The theming was OK, and the host was helpful

A really enjoyable room with a great range of different puzzles to solve.

The rooms at Escapism  are always well themed and the stories flow well.

We enjoyed that we could all be looing at different parts of this room at the same time and were frustrated with ourselves when we realised we'd missed something 'obvious' that held us back for a while at the end.

This was quite an easy room and the puzzles were fairly intuitive. Some of the tech was broken which meant we were delayed for a while on a task where we'd correctly answered it several times but it hadn't been accepted.

There were a good range of different puzzles and we enjoyed the experience as a whole so have returned to try other games

This just felt a bit cheap compared to other rooms that we've done. 

There were a few nice touches and puzzles but nothing that made it stand out. There was no real flow to the room and it just all felt a bit clunky

Really well themed room. Quite traditional in that you need to find thing and also solve puzzles.

A good mix of different puzzles and padlocks too. We found this quite difficult but I'm not sure if that was just because it was one of the first games we every played.

A bit different to others in the it was all within a single room.

We had some laugh and there were plenty of puzzles to go at with a  mix of some linear and some other elements.

This was lots of fun. we took a couple of friends who hadn't done a room before and all enjoyed the experience. The room was themed well, with sight and sounds.

A variety of different games that played to different skill sets. Some were quite hard but others much more straightforward.  The first part was more linear whilst the second had more options to play with. 

We've done a few games here and enjoyed them all.

I've rated this as  a three as I found that it didn't quite flow as well as some other games we've done, it felt a little disjointed especially in the first part.

There were a variety of puzzles which is always fun although I HATED the parrot by the end:)

The theming was fantastic as usual and the host was helpful. We found ourselves having to ask for more clues than we usually do as things weren't always intuitive. A fun game though, especially if you have someone with a good ear:)

It's worth saying that the theming at Escape Hunt is always good and the hosts are friendly and helpful. 

We didn't get out of this room and I found it really frustrating. It took us a ridiculously long while to get past the very first bit which wasn't a puzzle but involved some dexterity which neither of us had. 

By the time we were through the first door we were already well into our time.

The next set of puzzles were fairy standard and we solved them but ran out of time before moving to the final piece.

I didn't really enjoy this room as I felt the start but a damper on it for us but if you have a larger team with some more dexterous people in it then it could be for you.

This was one of our favourite rooms. We laughed and there may have been a little bit of screaming too! We escaped with around 5 minutes spare.

It's quite a small room so larger teams may struggle and there were not loads of puzzles, but the ones that were there were well thought out and relevant to the room.

The theming was great and as always at Lucardo our  host was fantastic. This was our second room at Lucardo and I know we'll be back for more.

We laughed our way through this one. Great game and fantastic hosting.

The puzzles were fun and the way that you get clues was brilliantly thought out. This was the first game that we did at Lucardo and we've been back a few times since as we enjoyed it so much.

The Gm's definitely have a sense of humour - I can say more or I risk spoiling it, but if  you think you'd be able to hack it on the inside then give this one a go.

This was the strangest room we've done. It's in two parts with the first part focussing on collecting things and the second part more of a traditional escape room. 

The puzzles were fun, but it just felt a little flat to us compared with the other rooms we have done at Lucardo which have all been amazing.

That said, there were plenty of puzzles and different people could work on different things so could be a good one for a larger group

Not your usual escape room! Our first time at Contained but after today we'll definitely be back. The experience starts as soon as you step through the doors, and our host Sean was fantastic giving us the story and, setting the scene,

The room is themed really well and the clues and puzzles were testing but fun. There's help available if you need it (as well as light).

Not one for the fainthearted as there are a few jumpscares but we found it to be creepy rather than scary. 

It's quite a linear room where  you solve one clue before moving on to the next and not a padlock in sight! 

We thoroughly enjoyed it and are already plotting when we can do Snatched.
